2 Corinthians 7:10
For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There is no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.
Unspeakable joy…
1Peter 1:8-9 (NLT)
You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for your trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.
This verse struck me today. It amazes me…even though I have never seen Him as a person, I have still seen Him in people, in situations, in creation, and in action and YES I love Him and trust Him and YES it gives me GREAT joy.
God is working in you…
Philippians 2:12-15
Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire AND the power to do what pleases him. Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that no one can criticize you.

Mark 8:34 (NLT)
Then, calling to the crowd to join his disciples, Jesus said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me.”
Our salvation was a gift, it cost us nothing, but cost Jesus everything.
Following Jesus is a choice and requires obedience.
